My next boy.

Well, the look on the cake
It ain't always the taste
My ex-boy had
Such a beautiful face
I wanted love
But not for myself
But for the boy
So he could love himself

Oh my next boy
Will be nothing like my ex-boy
I made mistakes back then
I'll never do it again
With my next boy
He'll be nothing like my ex-boy
It was a painful dance
And I got a second chance

Oh, a beautiful face
And a wicked way
And I'm paying for his beautiful face
Everyday
All that work
Over so much time
If I think too hard
I might lose my mind

Oh my next boy
Will be nothing like my ex-boy
I made mistakes back then
I'll never do it again
With my next boy
He'll be nothing like my ex-boy
It was a painful dance
And I got a second chance

Oh my next boy

My next boy

  3. haha. you can comment! tumblr is just stupid. im going to try to find a way to add something in the html code though so that it's easier. cuz i love comments. and i think i need some encouragement so that i blog more often.

something i do not like about this feature. it does not alert me when you comment after me! so i just read this now.

also. i am not the only person who reads this nonsense. also. it is not nonsense. :) i use this wonderful, wonderful little thing called google reader. and you can put the link to any and all blogs there and then whenever you look at it, it displays any new posts from any blogs so that you can actually keep up with all of them. which is why i'm here. i just saw that you ALSO found your name in a christmas song! i heard that song recently and meant to tell you to start introducing yourself a new way! but now i see you've beaten me to it. why is your name in so many songs? i'm jealous. i've never had my name in a song. at least not a good one. i think i did find one song once with my name in it but it was by some lame band and it was a lame song. oh well. maybe someday.

  4. is the lame song you were talking about :

    By Lyle Lovett
    Sonja Lyrics:

    I've never been lucky
    At picking up women
But this life that I live
Is not one that I choose
    She was a waitress
    With hair blond and curly
    With a pretty black dress
    And those Japanese shoes

Man I need to impress her
'Cause I'd like to undress her
I need a song about Sonja
    When I'm singing tonight

    She looked so pretty
    As she poured my coffee
    But she had her eye
On my freind at the bar
And I watched her watch him
    And I watched her thinking
I wish her eye was on me

Man I need to impress her
'Cause I'd like to undress her
I need a song about Sonja
    When I'm singing tonight

And if I could sing her
    A tender love ballad
    I'd hope that the
    audience might sing along
But I can't find the right way
    To tell her my feelings
    And still make the words
    rhyme with Sonja

    No I've never been lucky
    At picking up women
But this life that I live
Is not one that I choose
    She was a waitress
    Now she's gone forever
And I'm stuck with this song
    That I never will use

Man you need to impress her
If you want to undress her
    Sing a song about Sonja
    When you're singing tonight
    Sing a song about Sonja
    When you're singing tonight
